Our Catholic Faith is not the product of man-made traditions, nor is it novel. What we believe is founded upon what God has revealed in history by word and deed in the Old and New Covenants. This Faith is the Faith of the Apostles, faithful to the Apostolic Tradition – guarded by the power of the Holy Spirit – as it was written down in the New Testament and as it is perpetuated throughout the course of history in the Liturgy and the ministry of those same Apostles’ successors, the bishops of the Catholic Church. It is the faith shared by over 1 billion disciples of Jesus the Christ.
